The Gorilla Bar is here!

Previously known as the Peanut Butter Bar, which launched in Summer 2023, it was designed to be a delicious, satisfying protein bar that’s easy on your stomach.

While we were happy with the original bar, we knew there was room to make it even better.

Here are the key improvements to all Gorilla Bar flavors:

• Better Flavors: The first bars used peanut butter as the base, which overpowered the other flavors. We’ve switched to cashew butter for the Cookies & Cream, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, and Cookie Dough flavors, while keeping peanut butter for the Peanut Butter Cup flavor. We also optimized the salt levels for the best taste.

• Softer Texture: The first bars were firmer than we wanted and got harder over time. We changed the mix of whey powder and crisps, added more mix-ins like chocolate and peanut butter chips, and adjusted the protein to 20 grams per bar. The result is a much softer, more enjoyable bar.

• Improved Heat Resistance: To prevent melting in hot weather, we upgraded the bar’s coating. While it’s not completely melt-proof, the higher melt point makes it more heat-resistant than the first version for a better experience.
